Oneness Pentecostal Church Ministries

Since 1975

Our story

Oneness Pentecostal Church Ministries was founded in 1975 by the late Timothy Magagula, born in Filabusi District in 1936. Convicted that the church should belong to its people, he stepped out of the United Pentecostal Church and planted a wholly Zimbabwean-founded, Zimbabwean-run assembly.

The early years were tested by the disturbances of the liberation struggle, but after Independence the church began to grow, from one congregation in Bulawayo to a family of assemblies across Zimbabwe and beyond its borders.
